Mitch the Rusk Thief

This post should have been placed just before the trip to Great Keppel but better late than never.

Craig was having trouble with his top gum because new teeth were coming through. In Brisbane he had really enjoyed chewing on a chicken bone, a great suggestion by Great Aunty Vickie and Great Uncle Brian. When in Yeppoon, Craig's parents thought they should try teething rusks. At first, Craig seemed to like them.

He would chew away happily on a rusk for half an hour.

But when he became bored with a rusk he would just throw it on the floor. And, teething rusks look a little bit too much like dog biscuits.

Well they do if your name happens to be Mitch.

But, it was OK because Craig had plenty of rusks. It wasn't long before he had another one to chew on.

Plus, Mitch had a good time with his rusk. First, he buried it in the backyard. Then he brought it to bed with Craig's Grandma! She's lucky to have such a thrifty dog. He doesn't waste much.
