Trip to Neihu and Daan Forest Park (all in one day)

Monday marked one year since the passing away of Craig's Taiwanese Grandfather according to the lunar calendar.

Craig's Mum took Craig up to the house in the hills where the family had a little ceremony to commemorate the occasion. Afterwards, Craig's Uncle Dean helped Craig steer the little tricycle he was trying to ride.

Unfortunately once Craig's Cousin Soit Jade got involved some of the fun went out of it for Craig.

Craig's Aunty Suprana sometimes seems to have trouble with the idea that her own childhood has ended.

Back inside Craig found a children's xylophone to play with.

There was some happy sharing of the little hammer used to hit the xylophone keys.

And some fairly determined reaching to get the hammer back.

The little bloke in the following picture is one of Craig's second cousins. He lives upstairs on the fourth floor directly above Craig's home. He is also just one month older than Craig but is much, much bigger.

It's a good thing being a chubby baby means he takes after his dad.

After dropping in breifly at home Craig ventured off to Da-an Forest Park. He likes the slide there.

Craig's Mum said that Craig's Great Aunt From the Fifth Floor kept Craig giggling while he ran around and around so that he could go down the slide heaps of times.

Craig likes it when someone keeps him company while he slides.

When Craig's Great Aunt From the Fifth Floor became tired Criag's Uncle Dean took over.

You can tell that the slide is meant for kids, can't you?
