About lunchtime on Sunday Craig was taken to the new home of one his Mum's cousins. His cousin Soit-Jade was there too.
Soit-Jade's little sister was also in attendance. She's looking much more lively than the last time Craig saw her. He still isn't very interested in playing with her.
Craig spent most of his time snacking; first on fruit and then on a very, very sweet kind of soup.

So, even though Craig went home with his parents to take a nap, he couldn't fall asleep. With so much sugar in his bloodstream, he was very lively and not at all sleepy. Craig's parents decided that it was time to take Craig out on the new bicycle that they had bought earlier that day and ride to a riverside park not far away.
When they arrived, out came a small soccer ball. A small problem arose because this park is about as well kept as other parks in Taipei. That means, as you can see in the picture below, big ruts in the grass have been left by track marks from some heavy vehicle that make it impossible for a little boy to walk safely let alone play with a ball.
Not surprisingly, Craig headed for the flat footpath.
He was much happier playing there.
But the lack of nap meant that he soon became tired. Playing with the dirt became desirable because it doesn't roll away. He even tasted it, much to his Mum's displeasure.
It can collect on your face if you are not careful.
Craig began to cry from tiredness and his parents went to look for somewhere to rest.
It even began to rain lightly so they were very happy when they found a hotel that rented rooms for three hours for NT$300. Craig was asleep well before he hit the bed.
While Craig napped, his parents watched The Pursuit of Happyness.

Craig's Dad thought that he's very lucky to be able to provide Craig with a much more comfortable place to nap than the restroom at a train station like the poor man in the movie.
Craig woke up almost exactly as the movie was finishing so he and his parents went back to the park for a while.
They had a really nice time there but soon it was time to go home and have pizza delivered for dinner.
Craig's Mum had to be quick to cut up the chicken pieces for Craig that were leftover from his dinner at Fridays the night before. He looks calm in this picture but he became impatient very soon after it was taken.
Soon, Craig's tummy was full and he had a chicken bone to chew on. Life doesn't get much better than that.

I bet he was the youngest customer ever to visit that love hotel.
I think you may be right! Perhaps I should change the name of this post to "Craig's First Love Hotel Visit". Or would make it seem like his Dad was pushing towards Edison Chen-style fame? Grace wouldn't want that.
