Sliding, Sliding, Everyday Sliding

The first few photos in this post were taken on Saturday April 5. The weather was warm even if the skies were overcast but it had been raining for a few days before that. The ground was still a little damp but the see-saws and slides were dry. That didn't mean Craig was willing to play.

Craig's Mum had to follow him very closely every step of the way up his favourite slide.

And, he only slid down once.

Then it was off to the static electricity-inducing plastic tube slide.

But he became bored with that quickly too. Soon, they just had to leave and go somewhere else to play.

A few days later on Tuesday morning, the weather was much warmer and Craig was back in the park in a much better mood.

This was just about the first time that he had slid down a concrete slide on his bum.

He seemed to like it!

But soon he had other things on his mind ....like escape ..... Craig's Dad had to chase him.

And he had to be carried all the way back several times. That was not what Craig's Dad wanted to be doing on such a hot morning but such are the joys of parenthood.
