Taipei City FC Lady-Killer

Last Saturday night, Craig's Dad went to watch some former teammates of his from his footballing days play against Taiwan's national team. The boys now play for a team called Taipei City FC. You can find their rather spartan website here:

You can see how much Craig likes the spade that his parents bought for him in Kenting. He now carries it with him almost everywhere he goes. But, like most 1-year-olds at a football game Craig quickly became bored. His Dad thought that playing with a ball would keep him busy.


If you only saw these photos you would think that Craig was very good and behaved like a nice boy that night. In fact, he bit his Dad really hard several times.


And, if his Dad spent too much time watching the game, Craig would run onto the field just to attract his Dad's attention! That piece of behaviour even became a little bit dangerous just once when he ran on to the pitch just as the ball was being chased towards him by two opposing players!


But there were times when he enjoyed playing with the spare ball on the sidelines.


Quite a few of the Taipei City FC players' girlfriends thought Craig was very cute. He received a lot of attention and one player even described Craig as a lady-killer.


But, the attention had very little effect on Craig. At the end of the game he preferred to walk out on to the big wide field where he could be alone.
