Sliding Fun

Craig and his parents went to the park for some more fun on the slides recently. It takes at least 15 minutes to walk all the way there and there's no decent alternative that is closer. So, Craig's parents like to make sure Craig plays on everything before he's allowed to leave.

At first he was happy to play by himself on the static electricity inducing plastic slide.

Then he went over to the park's only other, slightly bigger slide where he insisted on receiving help to walk up the stairs.

He likes it when his Mum slides down with him. (Check out the hair.)

Craig's Mum had to keep doing the hard work of helping the boy climb the stairs so Craig's Dad could take more pictures.

Craig's Mum tried to teach Craig how to slide down safely by himself.

But, after climbing the stairs again....

He was happier when his Mum came along with him.

Back at the top and a fan club had begun to arrive. The little girl at the top of the stairs kept staring at Craig.

And when Craig had slid down and then walked back up again, she tried to give him a hug!

After that, Craig probably thought he would be safer in the little fort that's in the corner of the park. But the little girl followed him up there too! It's a good thing his Mum stayed close to protect him.
