Big Park and Fan Club

The picture below is Craig looking unhappy because he has been wheeled outside in his pram when he would much rather be inside. His Mum and Dad had foolishly taken him into a big bookstore. It's a rather elegant place with lots of low tables with books stacked high and Craig became very excited as soon as his pram was wheeled out of the elevator. He obviously wanted to play with the books and he made so much noise that he was taken away quickly before he could do any damage. Which of course meant that he just made more noise!

Craig's Dad didn't get a picture but Craig soon attracted a little crowd of about five teenage girls who all wanted to take pictures of him with their mobile phones. They also wanted to touch his hair and face! Craig's Dad saved the boy by letting him out of the pram so he could run away. It worked really well.

The next day was Sunday and Craig's Dad took Craig to a big park beside the river where there are some football (soccer fields).

It's a truly huge park. The buildings in the distance are at the far end of the park and just across the river.

Unfortunately Craig doesn't have the chance to go outdoors to really big grass-covered spaces very much and it took him a few minutes to get used to the idea that he could walk more than five yards from his Dad and still be safe. Maybe he should be taken out to this type of place more often.
