Walking and Going to the Park

Last Wednesday began with Craig and his parents going for a walk despite some light drizzle.

There's a long covered walkway above the ground beside some department stores not too far from home.

Craig eventually walked far enough that he found a public phone to play with.

The next day began with breakfast outdoors at one of Craig's favourite breakfast places. Unfortunately, the seats are very near the road and plenty of busses pass by, making it difficult to hear other people when they are talking to you. That's the look on Craig's Mum's face here.

After breakfast, Craig and his parents went to a park near home.

He likes the rocking animals they put in the parks here. Even if he sometimes prefers to just sit and doesn't rock much.

In the afternoon they went to a much bigger park, Da-an Forest Park. Craig doesn't care about the forest, though. He likes the slide. He's looking backwards here because ...

his Dad is right behind him .... well, almost. His Dad's feet are just arriving at the top in this picture.

Then it was time to sit on a rocking animal again.

Once again, he barely moved while having a good look at what was going on all around him.

Then, it was off to play on the swings. Craig is still a bit small for swings like this one. He doesn't use his strength to hang on. He puts a lot of trust in his Mum when he's swinging.

He had quite a good time with Mum's help.

But when Craig's parents tried to swap Craig just didn't have as much fun as before.

Craig much preferred having his Mum push the swing and he didn't even notice the rainbow in the background.
