Brunch and the Quiet Life

Craig's life has been pretty quiet of recent. Almost as quiet as Craig's Dad's life and he's been working six days a week. In fact, too much work for Craig's Dad is the main reason that there are no new pictures of the boy. No new pictures means no blog updates. Craig's Dad tried to take pictures during brunch at LA Cafe last week to make up for the lack of suitable blog material.

Craig began brunch with banana slices.


Craig's Mum attempted to read the newspaper while Craig finished the banana.


Craig surprised his parents by insisting on drinking the grapefruit juice that is served with the breakfasts at LA Cafe. It was quite sour.


By the end of brunch, Craig had eaten plenty. But, then the sexy waitress came over and gave him a lolly. It was a hard thing that he was supposed to suck for a long time. It was just the sort of thing that Craig's Mum and Dad would normally NOT give Craig but he insisted in putting it in his mouth there and then.

Naturally, he sucked on it for a while, tried to swallow it and it got stuck halfway down his throat. Craig's Dad was on his way to rescue the boy when Craig threw up!! Not much, just enough to remove the lolly and a tiny bit of breakfast. It all went on Craig's Dad's shirt! Such are the joys of parenthood.
